How to Resubscribe After Unsubscribing from an Email List.
Introducing Quick Resubscribe Option in Email Unsubscribe Workflow
Problem Statement:
Previously, once a user unsubscribed from our mailing list, the process to opt back in was cumbersome and not as intuitive. This created friction for users who unsubscribed by mistake or changed their mind shortly after unsubscribing.
What We Did:
To make the process more seamless and user-friendly, we’ve introduced a quick resubscribe link directly within the unsubscribe success message. Now, when users unsubscribe, they will see an option to quickly resubscribe to our emails without leaving the page or needing to go through any complex steps.
With a simple click on the resubscribe link, the email address will be instantly removed from the Do Not Disturb (DND) list, allowing users to easily opt back into receiving our emails.
How to Test:

Go to the Email Marketing Platform:
- Access your email marketing platform.

Create and Send a Campaign:
- Create a dummy email campaign and send it to a test contact.

Unsubscribe:
- Open the email and click on the unsubscribe link in the email.

Resubscribe:
- On the unsubscribe success page, click the resubscribe link provided in the message.
By doing so, you will experience firsthand how the new process allows the user to quickly opt back into receiving emails.
- Check the DND section in contacts.
Note:
Users re-opting in may still appear under unsubscribed in campaign statistics. We are working to fix this.
