Connect Instagram Business or Creator to Facebook (allows posting to IG).

To successfully post to your Instagram Business Profile, including direct publishing, your Instagram Business profile must be connected to either a Facebook Page or Creator Profile. While you don’t need to publish to the Facebook Page itself when posting on Instagram, the permissions to manage your Instagram profile are granted to LeadConnector via Facebook. This connection is a requirement from Facebook, as it owns Instagram.

Before You Begin

1. Verify Your Instagram Profile Type
   Ensure your Instagram profile is either a Business or Creator profile. If you don’t have one, refer to the guide on how to Convert an Instagram Personal Profile to a Business or Creator Profile.

2. Confirm Your Facebook Page Role
   Make sure you have either an Admin or Editor role for the Facebook Page if it’s a Classic Page type, or full or partial control if it’s a New Page type. You can find more details in the Facebook help article.
   If the Page is part of Facebook Business Manager, you’ll need management access to the Page within the Business Manager account. For more information, refer to the Facebook help article on adding people to your Business Manager.

To link your Instagram Business profile to your Facebook account, follow these instructions:

1. Open a new browser tab and log in to your Facebook account.

2. On your Facebook homepage, click on “Pages” located at the top left of the screen.

3. Choose the Facebook page that you want to connect with your Instagram Business account.

4. After your selected page opens, go to “Settings” on the left-hand side of the screen.

5. Scroll down to the bottom of the “Manage Page” section on the left and click “Settings.”

• In the Page settings menu, choose “Instagram” and then click on “Connect Instagram Business Account.

• Enter your Instagram login details (username and password) and click “Log In.”
• Once logged in, your Instagram Business profile will be successfully connected to your Facebook account.
